- Constable
- Essetial Qualification: 10th pass or equivalent from recognized Board by the Government of India
- Age Limit: Between 18-28 years
- Age Relaxation: Upper Age Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC
- Sub-Inspector
- Essetial Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: Between 18-28 years
- Age Relaxation: Upper Age Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC

- Constable (Ex): Initial Pay= 21,700 and Level 3 pay -level in 7th CPC.
- Sub Inspector: Initial Pay= 35,400 and Level 6 Pay -Level in 7th CPC.
RRB charges a minimal fee as Application fees.
- SC/ST/Woman/Minority/EBC/Ex-Serviceman: Rs250 (whole amount will be refunded if CBT attented)
- Others: RS500 (Rs400 will be refunded if CBT attented)
The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages: (i) Computer Based Test ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (iii) Document Verification (DV)
